Tampa, Fla., October 4, 2024 - Eric Dailey, President/CEO of Halifax Solutions, was selected to serve as an Honorary Commander with the United States Air Force 927th Air Refueling Wing Maintenance Squadron at MacDill Air Force Base for the next two years. The 927th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron provides aircraft maintenance specialists for the KC-135 Stratotankers and is responsible for the flightline maintenance required to launch and recover sorties supporting air refueling operations, both at home and at deployed locations around the globe.
During this period, honorary commanders will have the opportunity to work closely with their commanders and assigned units, gaining valuable insights and contributing to a supportive relationship between the community and its military members. The honorary commander program aims to educate community leaders about the wing’s mission and to cultivate strong supportive relationships for the Citizen Airmen who serve.
